The second meeting of the Lead Student Representative (LSR) body was held on 26 February 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Board Room. The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Syed Najeeb Haider Jafri, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). The meeting was organized to strengthen the student participation framework in institutional quality processes and to formally introduce the operational structure of the Lead Student Representative (LSR) system under the SCALE initiative (Student-Council for Academic Learning Enhancement). The session brought together student representatives from various departments to share academic, administrative, and infrastructure-related concerns and to propose suggestions for institutional improvement.

The Director QEC emphasized that the LSR body will serve as an institutionalized mechanism for student participation in quality assurance and improvement processes, aligned with the PSG-2023 student-centric approach.
During the meeting, the Director QEC formally announced the LSR appointments for a six-month tenure:
It was also communicated that future LSR appointments will be made through a formal student voting process, ensuring democratic representation and wider student participation.
The participants appreciated this initiative and recognized it as an important step toward establishing a formal student representation system within the university.
