Sohail University Hosts the “Health, Beauty, and Wellness in Asia: Challenges & Opportunities” Conference
On December 12, 2024, Sohail University, in collaboration with E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized the prestigious conference on “Health, Beauty, and Wellness in Asia: Challenges & Opportunities.” The event, held at the Expo Centre Karachi, brought together a distinguished group of experts, industry professionals, and academic scholars to explore the evolving landscape of health, beauty, and wellness across Asia.
Distinguished Speakers:
- Dr. Asma Tabassum – Director ORIC, Sohail University, emphasized the importance of research and innovation in advancing the wellness industry
- Prof. Dr. Aliya Rehman – Former Director ORIC & Chairperson, Department of Botany, University of Karachi, discussed the significance of natural and herbal formulations in healthcare.
- Ms. Maheen Salman – CEO, Global Innovatrix; Convener, Central CSR SC Higher Education, Science & Technology, shared perspectives on corporate social responsibility within the health sector.
