Jinnah College of Nursing earlier started from Medicare School of Nursing (MSON) in 1997 as the first academic unit of S. M Sohail Trust at Medicare Hospital Shaheed–E–Millat Road, Bahadrabad Karachi. Initially, a three-year diploma in nursing program was started. In June 2003, the Medicare School of Nursing was relocated to the Jinnah Medical College Hospital in Korangi. Later on, MSON was recognized for the training of Midwifery & Cardiac Specialties. Medicare School of Nursing was upgraded to Jinnah College of Nursing (JCN) in 2009. The College offers various programs at the undergraduate level for nurses to provide care to individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well and in all settings. Our both degree programs are registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. We are providing quality nursing education at an affordable cost as compared to the market. We encourage the students to apply from all areas of Pakistan on a merit basis.

The Jinnah College of Nursing has implemented the HEC & PNC-approved curriculum to meet the challenges of future requirements in the field of Nursing education, evidence-based practice, and research to fill the gap between the required and present demands of skilled motivated and professionally trained nurses at national and international level. The Jinnah College of Nursing will strive to produce competent, confident, and skilled nursing professionals who will serve humanity in the field of nursing with pride, devotion, and professional ethical standards.

Jinnah College of Pharmacy was established in 2004 at our Shaheed-e-Millat Road Campus with nine batches having graduated so far. The last batch of the students of Pharm D program that was admitted in 2011 graduated in 2016. No further admissions were undertaken after   2011 because of the major upgradation of the infrastructure of the college. Now we have built   a new facility for the college at Korangi Campus of Sohail University. The new facility is furnished with air-conditioned class rooms, spacious laboratories, new state of the art equipment, air-conditioned library, a computer laboratory and other ancillary infrastructure. The college is attached with Jinnah Medical College Hospital, a 350 beds hospital which is equipped with almost all specialties of surgery and medicine and elaborate hospital pharmacy services. The hospital will be used for imparting training in clinical pharmacy to Pharm. D. students. Jinnah College of Pharmacy is recognized by Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
